Some Faith Things for a Sunday

I know that Sunday is only a faith-flavored day for some folks, but it’s as good a peg as any for a couple of religion-themed Best Random Things:

I saw amazingly dazzling Blue Morph butterflies flutter by me and my brothers as we sang “Onward Christian Soldiers” in the wild in Panama, as well as, sloths, snakes, and heard of panthers roaming in the night. I also witnessed large ants carrying enormous pieces of leaves up a long metal railing. Nature is fascinating.

I lost any scrap of faith I had left when I was 13. My mother tried to explain to me that my father’s Parkinson’s was due to “God’s Plan” for us. That was the last straw.
